Filming your intro reel: By clicking on the link below you will be able to record your video and it will save it and send it to us in a format we can use and attach to your submissions.
You can film it on your phone or any other camera you have available to you.
Shooting: Focus on your face and head and shoulders is best for us to see you in an Audition which is a ‘Medium’ shot
Look into the camera. Your eye line should be looking in the cameras direction, but not directly into the camera lens.
Lighting and Sound: Seeing your face clearly is the most important thing.
Record a test clip and see how it looks and sounds before taping the scene.
We also need to hear you, make sure that the sound is clear.
Accent: Please use your natural voice.
Acting Style: Talk in your normal voice, just like you would in a normal, everyday conversation with a friend.
You don’t need to “act”, do big gestures or project your voice – this isn’t theatre. Sometimes your parents or a drama teacher might tell you how they think it should be done, this isn’t what we want, we want to see how you interpret the role.
